SiteBud: Web Site Design Tool
SiteBud,
an update of Beam Splash Web Author, is an easy-to-use
Web site design tool (see screen shot). Its Windows-like
interface has drag-and-drop features and numerous
Java and JavaScript plug-ins that allow a novice
Internet user to create a professional-looking Web
site. SiteBud provides a comprehensive help index,
tutorials, and a dedicated support site with resources
and tips.
SiteBud
handles all the coding (HTML, CGI, Java, JavaScript,
and FTP), allowing the user to play the role of
the artist. SiteBud also offers complementary services
that provide access to dynamic news articles, free
Web page hosting, domain name registration, free
artwork, and more. This update is a maintenance
release that fixes a few bugs with text editing
and makes the program more stable.
